We Care Ministry provides emergency shelter for those experiencing domestic violence
The We Care Ministry Program
The We Care Ministry originally began as the Tapestry Women’s Ministry in 2009 by providing emergency shelter to women and their children who were actively fleeing domestic violence (DV) situations. Now the program has expanded to help both women and men.
Emergency sheltering is provided in hotels until more permanent shelter can be coordinated with area DV shelters, or through homeless housing service providers. While in shelter the We Care Ministry participants are supported with essential needs such as hygiene products, food, clothing, and counseling referrals.
*We evaluate each case after intake and tailor services accordingly.
Our long-term goal is to help families rebuild their lives through sustainable housing by providing opportunities such as mental health wellness, financial literacy, and life skills tools.

Each year we plan a Women’s Conference to celebrate, discuss, and build community. Amongst the women, hope is restored, friendships are created, and lifelong mentorship is provided.
